Caroline wanted to add a post to our blog (or the "glob" as she calls it) about our household efforts to support the environment. They have learned so much in school and in Scouts about recycling and what kids can do to protect the earth, and we wanted to support that knowledge. Here is a picture of the kids with: 1) our new green canvas grocery bags (only 99 cents each at our grocery store!) - shown by Alex; 2) our new energy-saving light bulbs which have been placed all over our house - shown by Emily; and 3) our recycling bin which is used much more now than it used to be - we recycle newspapers, bottles, and milk jugs - shown by Caroline.
