We got a head start on the Christmas season this year and began decorating this week-end! As always, we got a myriad of questions from our curious little people. Here are a few examples:
"Aren't we supposed to wait to decorate until Dec. 1st?"
"If we put all the ornaments on one side of the tree, will it fall over?"
"Why do we put the stockings in the same order every year?"
"Why does Daddy's stocking come first when Mommy is older?"
"What happens if the nuts get stuck in it?" (nutcrackers)
"Are those real peoples' houses?" (Snow Village)
"They don't look very happy that it's Christmas" (nutcrackers)
"If we left the candles in the windows all year, will the neighbors think it's funny?"
"Did Jesus put candles in His windows?"
"If we jump on the couch, will all the ornaments fall off?"
Just a small sample of the many conversations that take place in our house every day! We did finish the decorating - everyone did a wonderful job!
