Bailey's Training

On Wednesday we had a trainer come to our house to work with Bailey. She will be coming once a week for 6 weeks. This week we worked on leash training. Instead of Bailey dragging me around everywhere, I have had to learn to be the leader and walk confidently ahead while having her walk beside me. Believe it or not, this is a hard adjustment!

Bailey is also attending Doggie Day Camp twice a week, where she can play with other puppies and learn manners. She has really calmed down since starting camp. Here is a picture of Bailey with the girls tonight - a few weeks ago she never would have stayed still for this picture!

I also included a picture of a squirrel hanging upside down while eating out of our bird feeder - the kids thought this was hilarious.

Summer is going great - this week we are attending Cub Scout Camp (Alex) and Gymnastics Camp (girls).
